A Little Bit About Danmor Lodge Care Home
Danmor Lodge Residential Care Home is situated near the beautiful Weymouth Bay.
Founded in 1994, by the Hasler Family, Danmor Lodge Residential care home has grown from strength to strength. Now
able to
accommodate
27 people, most with en-suite facilities, and with some benefiting from excellent views over the surrounding countryside.
The
resident
owners aim and objective is to people and maintain a safe and comfortable
environment
with residents looking upon this as
their
own home. A caring, friendly atmosphere is created whilst at the same time encouraging residents to continue with their own life style as much as possible. Whilst privacy is respected, appropriate help and advice will always be available from our 24 hour staff.
At Danmor Lodge all of our employees are NVQ trained. At different levels of NVQ, all our staff are progressing though each and every level to make sure that we give the best possible service to our patients.
About the Home
Danmor Lodge Care Home is completely equipped for each of their elderly residents
A call system is fitted in every room, for safety/security reasons, also the latest low surface radiators have been installed into each room. Naturally all the rooms are furnished to the fine standards for which Danmor Lodge is renowned. Telephones and television are available to all rooms with extra points in the communal rooms. There are two lounges both fitted with television, radio and music centre. The dining room, situated at the front of the home, has individual tables
accommodating
a maximum of four residents so that all the patients can enjoy their meals - all home cooked with special dietary as well as vegetarian needs catered for.
Weather permitting, residents enjoy the garden, either just to sit, or to potter with the many tubs etc. Various Forms of Entertainment are
organized
either external to theatre etc, or internal from professionals or staff. |
